Chiropractic Care
What Do Chiropractors Do?
Chiropractic care aims to improve mobility and function of the joints of the spine and other areas of the body. This is done through the use of specific manipulative techniques or 'adjustments'. These specialised techniques take many years of study and training to learn and may help reduce joint inflammation, improve nerve function, reduce muscle tension and reduce both local and referred pain. Sometimes other forms of therapy such as soft tissue procedures, stretches or use of exercise are utilised to enhance treatments.
